Annie Couch
Attorney
Annie Couch serves small businesses, property owners, and investors across Western North Carolina. Her practice focuses on transactional legal services designed to help clients structure deals thoughtfully, document relationships clearly, and address potential issues before they develop into disputes.
Annie regularly advises clients on business formation, governance, and succession planning, and drafts and negotiates a wide range of business contracts, operating agreements, purchase agreements, and advisory documents. She also provides ongoing general counsel services to closely held businesses, offering practical legal guidance as companies grow, transition, and plan for the future.
Before relocating to Western North Carolina, Annie practiced corporate and securities law in Nashville, Tennessee, where she represented public and private companies in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings. This experience allows Annie to bring large-firm transactional discipline, risk analysis, and precision to businesses and real estate matters of all sizes.
While attending the University of Tennessee College of Law, Annie served as a Research Editor for the Tennessee Law Review. She was selected as a Hardwick Fellow and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Annie is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Tennessee.
